Happy Start to the farmers market season tomorrow at the Lancaster Farmers Market! We’ll be set up with sign up sheets for our meat box CSA, offered for pickup or delivery with yearly subscription, USDA pastured pork raised on healthy whole foods, USDA grass fed beef, free range poultry meat and eggs as well as this years hog raffle! Our goats milk soap will be available again starting in June once we render our fresh lard and tallow down. It will be so good to see all you friendly folks again.

Pork will be back from the butcher tomorrow! I’ll be calling folks to pick up their pre-orders once it’s all sorted. There are still a few 1/2 and 1/4 shares of pork left available from this set of hog and the next 8 going in on the 26th.

These fine hogs have completely turned over the ground and roots for new fencing to go in this year. They are ready to go in for processing and will taste delicious.

April CSA boxes to be delivered or picked up the 19th. It’s sapping season and sap sausage and dogs are back on the menu!

There are 3 box styles:
To include beef, pork, chicken:
6lb $60
10lb $100
16lb $150

Whole chickens: $5 lb
1 free chicken per 10 ordered

Sap Dogs: $12 lb
Sap Sausage: $ 15 lb
Shredded Roast Chicken Taco Meat: $10 lb
Goat Kebob: $16 lb
Goats Milk Maple Fudge:
$15 lb, $8 1/2 lb

Box add ons include prepared meats such as taco meats, kebab, gyro, smoked meats,meat pies and are $15 per month.

Yearly CSA signups start the end of May when the markets are open again but customers are welcome to buy individual boxes.

Pork shares, USDA, are now for presale for the end of April! Shares will include all cuts including hams, ham steak, bacon and sausage.
Whole $6.50 lb
1/2 $6.50 lb
1/4 $7 lb

Pasture raised on forest and grass, fed on whole foods and not stock grains. Price is for hanging weight which will be slightly more than what you receive as the meat loses some weight while aging, curing for hams and bacon. Price includes processing.
$100 deposit, balance due at pickup or delivery.
