When we say, “we keep goats!”, most often people turn up a lip, imagining one of Gods most obnoxious creatures. When those same people meet them, they immediately fall in love and don’t want to leave. They still do dumb things, dont get me wrong, but the vast majority of time they are sweet and affectionate - as long as food isnt involved!

Millie was away from home for one day.
As soon as she got home she ran to the hutches, cuddled the bunnies up, and said, “I JUST LOVE THESE BUNNIES, MOMMY!”

The first 2026 Texas Legend onion harvest/prep/freeze is finished! These were the ones the guineas stole the tops from, making them not grow very big so this took lots of time to prepare. Hopefully most of the rest will be cured for fresh storage.

-The One Where Timmy Takes a Nap-

We have been overloaded with predators lately. Fox, fisher cat, raccoons, and who knows what else the trail can hasn’t caught. Timmy and Keeper have been working all night, then when the sun comes up Huck wants to play with daddy. Timmy is exhausted! This nap worried me to the point that I had to check on him, so of course we videoed it.

PENDING PICKUP
We have 8 lavender guinea keets available that arent already spoken for. They are the perfect age to raise right along with chicken chicks so they will be well behaved tick eaters.
$15 each, we are not motivated to rehome these babies but want to offer some as weve had MANY requests.
(They aren’t in this box, this was just used to transfer them from incubator to brooder in batches)
