HEADS UP CALIFORNIA HOMEOWNERS!!! (Please share)

Major property tax increase on the California ballot. Your property tax increases are on the launch pad. California politicians are trying to repeal prop 13 by slipping it under the radar. They plan to raise property tax revenue by eliminating the only thing keeping some people's property tax from sky rocketing,
Prop 13.
They know it will be unpopular if presented as
"Repeal Prop 13,"
It is strategically relabeled as
"Education and Local Government Funding."
It's already on the 2026 ballot and like the gasoline tax, it will be worded in a way that misleads California voters.

Vote NO on Education and Local Government Funding!!!!!!

All my California friends and family, please COPY and REPOST as this must be defeated.

Long Beach Through My Eyes

Ready to Sail

Long Beach Harbor

Yesterday morning I stood on the dock looking up at a ship that would soon carry me away for a few days.

*It was still tied to the pier.

*I realized that’s where every journey begins.

*Not in the middle of the ocean.

*Not at the destination.

But while we’re still standing on familiar ground, deciding to go.

Life has asked a great deal of me these past few years.

Today, I chose to accept an invitation to rest, to laugh, to explore, and to trust that the world would keep turning while I stepped away for a little while.

Perhaps that is courage too.”
