Established in 1975 as the Farm and Garden Market Cooperative Association, The Lexington Farmers' Market is a cooperative run by a Board of Directors elected by the membership. We are fiscally independent and are not part of, nor financially supported by the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government or any other entity. The Lexington Farmers' Market, as we are known to our customers, has developed into a five day per week market during the season. Our normal outdoor season is mid-April until late November, but we operate year-round from December to mid-April. Many of these farmers only come to the market during the season for their specialties, such as sweet corn or tomatoes, but others come year round with value added or expanded product lines. In 2005, the LFM launched a new Sunday satellite market on Southland Dr. It instantly became a big hit with customers. We continue to look for lasting and innovating ways to meet the needs of our members and our customers!

🟢🟢 MARKET UPDATE 🟢🟢 The final Sunday market on Southland Drive for 2026 will occur on November 1 from 10AM-2PM. ➡️ Then on November 7, the Saturday market location will move to our indoor winter location of Greyline Station and the winter hours will shift to 9AM-1PM. 🟣🟣 The Lexington Farmers’ Market will be open on Main Street at the Fifth Third Pavilion in Henry A Tandy Park on October 31 from 8AM-2PM. We will be announcing the details of a special free parking option for that day soon! 🟣🟣
