Hey y'all! Just wanted to come on here and apologize to anyone who got peaches from us last week! We did not realize we were sold a bad batch until we had sold a few. The whole case was rotten inside. We were credited with a new case of fresh peaches so come on in and we'll make it right if you got one last week. SORRY!!! 🙄🥴🫠🍑

EDIT: After telling us it would be 12:30 and then 1:45 before our power would be back, making us panic about losing our lunch shift today, the power was restored at 10 just as they originally had said. Did someone's toddler get ahold of the computer at Duke?!

Aaaaaanyway... We'll be back and ready to go for lunch! Come see us!!!!!

Duke is shutting off our power this AM (they said 9-10,🤞they stick to that) so we have to close. We'll post when we can re-open!

Happy Friday folks!! 🌞 It's a beautiful day going into a beautiful weekend, and we'd love to see your beautiful faces either at the store or at....

LEICESTER FEST at the Leicester Community Center tomorrow, the 6th from 3-7! 😁 We will have a limited menu, but will be bringing back a Grateful Roots beloved favorite - The Maple Bacon Jam Grilled Cheese!!!! 🍁🥓🤤
(*Again, all proceeds of the festival go back to the LCC and the Buncombe County Education Foundation!)

We also added a new special yesterday, the Little Italy, so that's posted below, along with Sweet Annie’s Bakeshop Dark Chocolate Mocha cake!

It's that time of year y'all, and we have ALL the flowers! Of course we have our own greenhouse grown flower starts and hanging baskets, but we also just got our first fresh batch of Worley Flower Farm bouquets!! Come get em while you can, they typically sell out pretty fast!

Hey neighbors! We wanted to give you a heads up about an event we are vending next Saturday at the Leicester community center! Free to attend, lots of family-friendly activities, food from yours truly (we will be serving out of the kitchen!) and Cecilia's Kitchen food truck, pet adoptions, local makers, and LOTS more!

**All proceeds from the event (aside from the private vendors) go back to the community 100%! 50% is a fundraiser for the Leicester community center, and 50% goes to the Buncombe county education foundation!**

So come on out, enjoy the afternoon, and gather with neighbors and the community!! See you Saturday, the 6th!

Leicester Fest is coming on Saturday, June 6th! Lots of fun activities are planned!

Well it certainly looks like our rain dance worked y'all, and maybe a little too well. While our plants are happy and beautiful, our hearts are heavy and our thoughts go out to our neighbors just south of here who are dealing with major flooding... Again. 😥 We are all too familiar with the juxtaposition of life and death, light and dark, of beauty and pain coexisting, and here we are reminded of that again. Praying for all who have been affected.

That being said, check out these non-stop begonias you guys... Vibrant as ever and will bloom til fall!!! They're so beautiful and worth it. Come take one or two or three home with you!
