KCMO Hours 8am-noon Fresh Produce! Sustainably Farmed Meats! We'll have a plethora of vendors - old and new! - to fill your market basket with good things and your kitchen with good eats through the summer. Brookside Farmers Market is home to some of the region's best growers using organic and regenerative practices. We love and welcome pets at the Brookside Farmers Market! Join us at the Brookside Farmers Market this Saturday, October 3rd from 8-12 for the Farmers Market! But at 10 am join us and The St. Andrews Episcopal Church for a Blessing of the Pets at HJ's Community Center at 6425 Wornall Rd.

Remember, Every Saturday we have free music, free very close parking and free coffee!

"My favorite thing to grow is probably leafy greens because I eat them almost every day, but what I'm really good at is growing tomatoes for some reason. I've always nailed it. Recently, all of my leafy greens got eaten by bugs. I think they're called harlequin beetles? They're really bad this year. And then there's some type of moth. It's the white butterfly moth thing. They make the little, you know, caterpillars, and they eat everything."

"Well, before my mom passed I had always wanted to come, but she never wanted to cross the street to get there. So one day, when she was sick, I came to the farmer's market to cheer myself up. I was immediately drawn to all the friendly vendors, and I could just stand in the market all day and soak in all that energy. I learned to be more outgoing, and how to communicate with people more, because I was shy at that time."
