Hunters, just a reminder: you can help provide local families food by donating venison to Lakeview Area Helping Hands. To do so, simply take your deer to Minor Packing on Kilgore Rd, Jackson Center, and specify the meat to be sent to Lakeview Area Helping Hands. They will do the rest. Good luck, hunters!

Cutbacks matter. We have already experienced cutbacks of fresh produce. Now, because of further cutbacks, we're looking at a severe shortage of USDA meat.

What does this have to do with Minor Acres? Hunting season is here, and many of our local hunters have their venison processed at Minor Acres. Did you know that Minor's will process your venison for the food pantry? Just tell them that you want to donate your catch to the pantry, and we'll take it from there.

Our clients love venison, and your donation will help us replenish our supply of fresh protein during this setback. Thank you for feeding your neighbor!
