Our newest additions! Our pedigreed pair of Holland Lops! Now these are still babies… so the opportunity with these two are ENDLESS!

Their first litter probably will not be until late fall! But we are so so excited!

It’s been a while since we’ve posted! But we’re still hard at work!

We’ve been working on cutting out some animals to make room for our vision!

What’s our vision?
-Pedigreed Rabbits! (standard Rex and Holland Lop)
-Beautiful and GIANT Indio Gigantes
-Frizzle Seramas! (We have 6 in the incubator and our girls are sitting on 5 more!)
-and of course our Kiki RiKi!!!

Our main “egg layer” flock will consist of brahma and Cochin! We are SO excited to make these changes!

With that being said… we have a few things to offer!

-A whole starter flock! 11 hens and 2 Roos of your choosing! $100
-Ducklings! And lots of them!!! All Rouen!
-quite a few of BYM chick and adolescents!

Babies Galore!!!

We have 6 baby Rouen ducks that will be available in a week! We want to make sure they are healthy!

We have four ayam cemani chicks ready now!

We have fluffy cheek Easter Eggers ready to go now!

The last photo isn’t available… however how cool is this?! We had an Easter egger hen mix with a Cemani too and gave us a fluffy cheek Cemani!! 😍😍 we’re going to keep this one 😅

We have LOVED chick and grow out season!

We are so excited that we will be breeding the largest (Indio Gigante) as well as the smallest (kikiriki) chicken breeds! Stay tuned for once they grow up!

We also cleaned brooders and switched chicks around!

We got our new chicken runs so stay tuned for pure bred options soon! We’re separating everything out asap!

We had such a good hatch yesterday! We will have Ayam Cemani chicks available once they’re a week old! (Want to ensure they’re healthy)

We also have BYM that we’d make a deal on! These all came out CRAZY pretty!

We hatched light and dark Brahmas from Lorenzo Farms and are so excited to grow these out! They’re BEAUTIFUL!

We will have more hatching in a few days and hopefully a few bunny litters! ❤️

I guess there is one in every crowd!😅

Tomorrow is hatch day, however this little chickie thought they needed to come out TWO days early, lastnight

This is one of our BYM and I have not a single clue what it could be! That’s the best part of BYM! Like Christmas every single time!

Hey guys! We’ve been a little MIA but life has been LIFING!

We have lots of chicks hatching! So keep an eye on posts for availability!

In the next couple weeks we will be working on separating out our purebreds into specific cages! Then of course waiting until our barnyard roo’s get out of the hen’s systems! 🐓

We will have:

-Golden Laced Wyandottes
-Buff Orpingtons
-Easter Eggers (all blue and green eggs!)

We also are growing out some
-Indio Gigante
-Kikirikki

(These are still chicks but eventually we will be incubating and growing these breeds)

We’re excited to have the world’s biggest AND smallest chicken breeds!😅

We should also have 3 litters of rabbits coming up! So pray that our new mommas get the hang of everything. 🐇

Our time has also been taken up by puppies!! We’re not sure what is going on but momma dog isn’t producing enough for all pups so we’re bottle feeding/supplementing to keep them well. 🐶

Moral of the story is, we are BUSY around here! But only to make things better and keep the quality up with our animals!

If you could, just send up a prayer for us on the homestead. It’s busy season with the tree business so I’ve been running ramped trying to keep up with the animals and kiddos!

When in doubt, wait it out!

Hatch day came and went… it was our first hatch of the year, in our old incubator and for some reason we could NOT get the humidity up for lockdown.

We were sure this was a failed hatch… but we left it just to see.

3 days later…. Pip…. And another. Now we have 2 chickies, two more that are zippered and trying to get out, and a few more that are pipped!

We have one large incubator full, and another getting ready to get filled! Hatch season is in full swing and we are LOVING it.

We had the whole family here this weekend so the animals got EXTRA lovings!

Berthonda (our goose) also got two new friends 😍
