Fall is in the air and pumpkins are in the field! We had hoped to open our pumpkin patch to the public this year. Unfortunately, just before harvest, we experienced a significant loss due to deer. We have learned the hard way that deer love to eat pumpkins! Next year, we'll be using fencing to protect the crop.
Although we don't have enough pumpkins for a "pick-your-own" patch, we have harvested a good number of beautiful pumpkins. We are working with our neighbors to create a pumpkin stand where locals can drive by and purchase large, medium and small pumpkins. Stay tuned for more info on the stand location.
