We are working every Saturday from 8-11 am behind Twin Creek Realty and would love to have you come help. Bring your chainsaw if you have one.

Opportunities, Benefits, Brotherhood, and Pension after 10 years of active service ($325.00/mo). Receive hands-on training with the equipment and rigs. Children's Reading Hour at the Hartsel Community Library is back! Children up to age 10 are invited, with an attending parent/adult, to come on down to the library Saturday, May 1st at 2:00 pm for a one hour children's book reading and fun crafts, overseen by one of our oh-so-friendly library volunteers. Any child attending must be accompanied by their parent or adult. The event will end at 3:00 pm. The library staff and volunteers are excited to reinstate this fun activity for the children of Hartsel. Future events are scheduled for the first Saturday of each month.

Country Church of Hartsel is hosting a Woodchuck Day Sat. Sept 26th 9am-1pm behind Twin Creek Realty in Hartsel. Event is for those in need of firewood and have the willingness to help cut wood that can be distributed to those in need this winter. Please bring your chainsaws and splitters and a way to transport firewood away from the location. Lunch will be served. For more info contact Jimmy Anderson @ 719-836-2480. The Colorado Geological Survey will be involved in a mapping project during July, August, and September 2020. They are trying to contact landowners to acquire permission for access. Please contact Karen Houck at [email protected] for more information or message us here and we will provide other means to reach them. Also expect to see several unknown vehicles around the area as they work.

If anybody has seen this truck let me know or call the Breckenridge police department.
They stole $50,000 in equipment including a skid steer loader and a trailer from Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge Saturday morning. Surveillance video shows them going over Hoosier pass towards Blue River or Alma, maybe in Lake or Chaffee counties as well. Please keep an eye out
