Last but certainly not least….lets shine the spotlight on one of our newest managers, Allen Knutson!

Although Allen has only been part of the Grocery Basket family for the past 3 months, he brings a lifetime of grocery experience with him. Since graduating high school, Allen has dedicated his career to the grocery business, building the knowledge and work ethic that make him such a valuable part of our team.

If you’ve been in the store, you’ve probably already noticed Allen—it’s hard to miss him thanks to his towering height! 😄 But what really stands out is his positive attitude and commitment to excellence every single day.

Allen takes great pride in keeping his aisles perfectly stocked, fronted, and looking their very best for our customers. His attention to detail and willingness to help wherever needed make a difference throughout the store.

We are proud to shine the spotlight on Mrs. Marilyn Stewart, our Head Customer Service Representative! ❤️

Mrs. Marilyn has been a loyal member of the Grocery Basket family since 2011, giving us an incredible 15 years of dedication, hard work, and friendly service. For the past few years, she has led our customer service team, helping oversee the front end of the store and making sure everything runs smoothly.

From managing the customer service desk and cashing checks to handling front-end money management, Mrs. Marilyn plays a vital role in our daily operations. She also helps keep our cashiers on their toes and ensures our customers receive the excellent service they deserve.

One thing customers and coworkers alike appreciate most about Mrs. Marilyn is that she always provides service with a smile. 😊 Her positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to our team make her an invaluable part of Grocery Basket.

When she’s not at work, one of her favorite things to do is spend time with and visit her granddaughter, making memories with family that mean the world to her. 💕

We're proud to shine the spotlight on Lacey Harris!
Lacey is truly a Jill of all trades and an invaluable part of the Grocery Basket team. When she returned to work with us just a few short months ago, she came back with no specific responsibilities assigned. Today, she helps run a large portion of our operation and has quickly become one of the most trusted leaders in our store.
Lacey oversees our Accounts Payable department and has been the driving force behind our successful expansion into the floral business. Her passion, creativity, and determination have helped transform our floral department into something our community can be proud of.
What makes Lacey special isn't just what she does—it's how she does it. She is the person our team turns to when they need answers. And if she doesn't know the answer, she'll work until she finds it. Her willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges has allowed her to master an incredible amount of knowledge in a very short time.
Having worked for Grocery Basket years ago, Lacey left to gain valuable management experience and returned ready to make an impact. She came back determined to grow, lead, and build a future—and that's exactly what she's doing.

Next up, we are excited to recognize Jaron Vescovo, our Assistant Meat Market Manager! 🥩👏

Jaron has been a dedicated member of the Grocery Basket family for 10 years, and during that time, he’s become a true expert in the meat department.

In fact, if there’s one thing Jaron knows, it’s meat! From product knowledge and customer service to merchandising and daily operations, he has spent the last decade mastering his craft.

As one of the younger members of our management team, Jaron brings fresh ideas, energy, and a modern perspective to the market while still maintaining the high standards our customers expect. His enthusiasm for learning and improving helps keep our meat department moving forward.

Jaron works closely alongside Meat Manager Junior Acosta, and together they make an outstanding team. Their commitment to keeping the department clean, organized, fully stocked, and customer-ready is evident every day.
