The farmers market will have bell peppers, Roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and the last of the honey for this season today.

Open from 9:00 AM until Noon today behind the Carter County Agricultural Extension Office in the pole barn.

Changes to Our Farmers Market Schedule

Dear Friends,

We wanted to share an update with you from the heart. After much thought, we’ve decided to close our Thursday afternoon Farmers Market. Between low turnout, slow sales, and a very difficult growing season, it has become too hard to keep it going.

This was not an easy decision, and we are so grateful to those of you who came out on Thursdays to support us. Your kindness and encouragement have meant the world.

We’ll still be open every Saturday as usual, and once a month we’ll also be at the Friendship House. We hope you’ll continue to join us there so we can keep sharing our homegrown produce and handmade goods with you.

Thank you for standing by us through the ups and downs of farming—we truly couldn’t do this without you.

Bring the kids out for fun activities and to earn Kids Bucks that can be spent at the market.
