Update on Dave!! He is able to put more pressure on his foot 🥳 his stitches are out and his leg is healing! 🥳 his wound is almost healed ❤️ he has one small surgery for checking his leg bypass this Wednesday and hopefully one more week left on the IV antibiotics.

But in all of this chaos he was let go from his position at his job because of no work. 🤷‍♀️ and was denied short term disability 🤦‍♀️ I know God has a plan ❤️

🥘 CROCKPOT TATER TOT CASSEROLE
1 lb lean ground beef
1 small onion
12 oz frozen corn
10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
½ c milk
¼ c sour cream
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp garlic powder
salt & pepper
20 oz frozen tater tots
1 ½ c sharp cheddar cheese

🌮 TACO POTATOES
6 russet potatoes
¼ c olive oil
1 Tbsp kosher salt
1 lb lean ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp onion powder
¾ c water
½ c salsa
taco toppings

🫘 COWBOY BEANS
1 lb bacon
1 small onion
1 small green bell pepper
1 lb lean ground beef
3 (15 oz) northern beans
3 (15 oz) red kidney beans
3 (15 oz) pork and beans
1 c brown sugar
1 c ketchup
3 tsp white vinegar
2 tsp yellow mustard

🥩 SALISBURY STEAKS
1 lb lean ground beef
1 packet onion soup mix
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
1 large egg
½ c bread crumbs
10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
1 c water
1 packet brown gravy mix

🥖 PHILLY CHEESESTEAK SLOPPY JOES
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion
1 small green bell pepper
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
salt & pepper
1 Tbsp cornstarch
½ c beef broth
6 slices provolone cheese

🥔 TATER TOT CASSEROLE
1 lb ground beef
10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
32 oz frozen tater tots
2 c shredded cheddar cheese
salt & pepper

🌮 TACO PASTA
12 oz uncooked pasta
1 lb ground beef
2 Tbsp taco seasoning
24 oz salsa
10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
4.5 oz chopped green chiles
2 c shredded Mexican-style cheese

🍔 CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE
2 c uncooked shell pasta
1 lb ground beef
1 ½ c chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
1 Tbsp flour
½ c ketchup
2 (15 oz) diced tomatoes
1 Tbsp yellow mustard
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
salt & pepper
½ c chopped dill pickles
2 c cheddar cheese

It’s been one of those days.

Dave and I have been busy. First after I took our son to school we headed to divine hospital so he could get his picc line taken care of.

Then we came home and I figured out how to thread up my sewing machine and then we spent some time test baking cakes for the cake wheel at the Avis fire station carnival.

Notice how I have Dave help me do the things I do haha

Oh yeah Dave has not had a cigarette since April 14th. 🥳 I am so proud of him.

He has made big steps towards a healthier life. But until he is completely healed he is still on the IV antibiotics.

Update on the hubs.

He is not too happy after they tested his blood flow…they now want to go back in and expand his one vein that looks too narrow.

That means another surgery!!

He can’t catch a break.

That would be another 4 weeks off work and he is anxious to get back.

He knows he has to heal but his job is at risk. He really enjoyed this job too. Ugh.

I know God has a plan and it is bigger than ours so we will keep on keeping on and praise God for what he has already done and will do.
