It's not over yet, even though one of the fields saw frost last night. This didn't effect much of the current harvest, except peppers. Carrots, beets, kale, green onions, brussel sprouts, leeks, and celery were completely unphased.

Tomorrow starts the pickup of pre-ordered potatoes. Thanks to everyone who has put in their order! There won't be many bulk potatoes for storage available at the Barn without pre-ordering, so contact me to get yours ordered!

Yellows and reds available by pre-ordering. New orders can be picked up between Thursday the 22nd and Tuesday the 27th.
20 pounds for $30 or 40 # for $50. Potatoes are grown without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, come unwashed for longer storage, and are not treated with chemical sprouting inhibitors!

DM me or text/call(701.799.3787) to order. Please include varieties and quantity desired, specified pick up day, and your name and phone number.

Bulk onions available (no pre-orders), unwashed carrots and beets also available for longer storage needs. The supply is starting to dwindle so I'd suggest not waiting too much longer. Goal is to be pretty depleted of produce before close up on the 31st!

A long (informative) post follows... containing details on pre-ordering of storage potatoes.

We have 16 (if weather cooperates) selling days remaining of the 2026 harvest! I'm not waiting until the last few days to start end-of- season specials.

Discounted pricing is beginning and includes:

▪︎winter squash regularly priced at $1.50/lb is $1/lb when you buy 4 or more

▪︎Delicata 3 for $5

▪︎Carnival and Honeybun(excellent acorn varieties) discounted with quantity purchases

▪︎gourds 10 for $10

,▪︎storage onions in 20lbs bags for $30. No pre-orders so don't delay too long on these. You'll find bags of mixed yellow and blush currently. Red onions in quantity bags will become available Thursday.

▪︎unwashed beets- 5lbs for $10

If you missed the video I posted a coupIe days back, I'm doing a raffle for a FREE CSA($300 worth of produce in 2027)!
If you're interested in supporting my endeavors to start incorporating cover crops into the planting routine, consider entering the CSA raffle. Each entry costs $5 with all funds going to purchase a seeder and cover crop seeds. No limit on amount of entries. $5=1 entry, $10= 2 entries, $20=4 entries, and so forth. Winner will be announced at closing on Saturday Oct 31st.

There are 2 varieties available with good storage properties, Satina(yellows) and Red La Soda

Available in 20lbs quantities for $30 or

Pre-orders will need to be picked up between Tuesday the 20th and Tuesday the 27th. To pre-order, please direct message me desired quantity and variety, specific day you'd like to pick up, and a phone number to call/text a reminder to if order is forgotten to be picked up. You can also call or text me at 701.799.3787 with all that info including a name for the order.

Alright folks, it has been a cloudy couple of days and perhaps energy levels are waning, but we've got a harvest to enjoy for a couple of weeks! Stop in and grab some inspiration for the crockpot and a pumpkin, or 10 for the front steps :)

●Kennebecs and Dakota Pearls(white)
●Red La Soda (good storage variety)
●Satina- yellows (good for storage)
●Purple Majesty
●Russets(baby sized this season)
●French Fingerlings

Beginning next week, I'll be taking pre-orders for quantity storage potatoes. These will unwashed in 20 # quantities for $30. Or 40 # for $50
I need to take inventory on onions to see what will be available for storage/quantity orders. Look for pre-order post next week!
