Happy May Day! The cooler temps have certainly delayed field work, but the first wave of plants made it outside today to harden off for upcoming planting. Greenhouse tomatoes are getting in the ground too. Though it may not be an early harvest season, it'll offer delicious and fresh when it does happen!

Well, we know April can be a whirlwind of weather! However, the first plant babies are unphased and the second greenhouse is cleaned out for all the upcoming transplants. The silver lining in all this wet snow is a replenishment of moisture in the fields.

I guess you could say this post is about collecting literal seed money for the upcoming season. Those who submit payment by the end of February will have a free bouquet added to their CSA account, redeemable when the flower harvesting begins.

The same CSA structure is in place from past years; a $250 payment becomes a $300 credit to be used at the Veggie Barn for the 2026 harvest.
