This morning, my last two disabled ducks, Dark Wing Duck and Daisy, were cuddled up together, reminding me just how beautiful the journey of healing can be. ❤️
Their journeys have been filled with love, patience, water therapy, and countless baby steps. 🥹💦
🌸 Daisy is our little success story! 🌸 She is doing absolutely fantastic and is no longer in her wheelchair! She’s taking her baby steps, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far she has come. Although her age means she’ll always have some lasting mobility challenges, she will forever be loved, cherished, and celebrated for every little victory. 💗🦆
🖤 Dark Wing Duck is still on his healing journey. 🖤 He has a long road ahead, but I believe in him with all my heart. I’ve seen what love, patience, and dedication can do firsthand with his good friend Huey, who has made an incredible recovery and now walks right alongside his flock! He’s doing wonderfully, with just a tiny little pimp walk to add some extra swagger to his step. 😎🦆💙
These precious souls remind me every day that healing isn’t always about being perfect or walking exactly like everyone else. Sometimes, it’s about progress, comfort, companionship, and knowing you are safe and loved. ❤️
Every baby step is a victory. Every cuddle is a blessing. And every life deserves a chance to heal. 🥹💖
