Spring bounty is here🙌 the goodness is rolling in fast and abundant! Harvest day are already turning into a full day affair. We had a great one today with the help from some amazing family members😊❤️

Calling all volunteers! Rising sun is looking for a few great volunteers starting now throughout the summer! This is a great way to both learn how to grow your own food from start to finish and get paid while doing so! Our general goal is to influence the youth of the surrounding area in sustainable practices that they can use their entire life. We are looking for 7th grade on up and adults.

We have a market share program where we can load up a credit card with cash where you can spend at our farmers market booth; dedicated volunteers may also be able to work and earn half and full CSA(weekly vegetable subscriptions) shares. Please direct message if interested and share if you have friends who may be interested.

Right now is crunch time and we can use volunteers as soon as possible! We are hoping to get a good majority of our tomatoes and peppers in the ground this week!

Good afternoon! I hope everyone is having a a wonderful spring so far. We sure are! We have been spending a ton of time starting seeds, potting up, prepping beds, and planting!🙂 I will be posting over the next couple days about our progress. We have a lot of things in the ground so far!🙌. Here is a few photos of us transplanting some onions the other week.

Shout out to my amazing sister Rachel and her good friend Kaitlyn!!! 🙌🙌 They were kind enough to help us plant 300 bed ft of onions in one afternoon!🧅 We really appreciate your help and couldn’t have done it without out you. There will be a box of veggies coming to you soon!

First day out in the field! Here is a before and after on a few bed preps we did today. This will be a perfect spot for some below ground crops; we will be planting carrots, beets, turnips, potato’s and radishes here. 🥕 🫜 🥔

We are blessed and super excited to announce that we are joining the Sinsinawa Collaboration Farm this year!!! We are very thankful for this opportunity and are looking forward to where this path takes us!
