Bubala’s is super excited to be back at the Sussex County Harvest, Homey, and Garlic Festival this Saturday, October 18, from 10am to 4pm. It’s always an amazing day with so much great food and crafts. You don’t want to miss it!

Today’s specials are Four Berry Jam, Cherries Jubilee Jam, Blackberry Lemongrass Jam, Smoked Tomato Jam, and Cucumber Pepper Relish.

Smoked Tomato Jam is back! Ripe tomatoes, caramelized onions and smoked paprika make this jam the perfect addition to a burger, grilled Italian sausage, or a charcuterie board.

Pick some up at the Denville Farmers Market this Sunday from 8:30am to 1:00pm. Along with Smoked Tomato Jam and our usual flavors, Bubala's will have Nectarine Basil Jam, Four Berry Jam, Peach Pie Preserves, and Cucumber Pepper Relish.

I know there must be some confusion because I told quite a few of you that I was moving out of state and that 2024 would be my last year making jam. That was the plan, however after several discussions with Jodi at the Glenwild Garden Center and Liisi at the Denville Farmers Market, who both graciously agreed to work with me this year, I made a last minute decision to keep the business going on a part-time basis in New Jersey! The commute from VA/NC is a bit of a drive, but I couldn't be happier seeing all the wonderful folks that I've come to know over the years. Thank you!

Bubala's will be at the Denville Farmers Market on May 25; June 8, 15, 29; and July 13, 27. I will update the second half of the season once I work out the schedule.

Bubala's will also be at the Sussex County Harvest, Honey & Garlic Festival on October 18 from 10am to 4pm at the Sussex County Fairgrounds.

Don't forget about the Glenwild Garden Center in Bloomingdale! Not only is it a great place to pick up Bubala's jams, it's also got the most knowledgeable and friendly staff imaginable. The fact that it's been family owned for 95 years is evident in the quality and variety of plants that they carry, plus the many unique items in the gift shop. I can't recommend it enough!

Bubala's will be at the Denville Farmers Market this Sunday from 8:30am to 1:00pm. Along with the usual ten amazing flavors, I'll have Four Berry Jam, Simply Rhubarb Jam, Peach Pie Preserves, and Cucumber Pepper Relish--just in time for grilled burgers, hot dogs, and more! I'll also have a new flavor, Nectarine Basil Jam!
