Been waiting until there was an event page to share and here it is!

We're going to be handing out tons of free samples at Leevers Locavore Localpalooza on 6/20 (that's next Saturday!). This is my first time attending and it looks like it's going to be a blast, with lots of other vendors sampling their goodies (hopefully many are vegan!), live music, and other entertainment. Pepper Jack Attack (i.e., we made way too much) 🌶️

At our last event, we completely ran out of Pepper Jack and left a lot of people empty-handed. We were determined not to let that happen again—so we went way overboard on production for this past weekend's events!

Now, we have a post-fair surplus of one of our most popular flavors.

Happy Friday to those who celebrate. Here's an easy recipe to enjoy tonight (or any night)!

Cacio e pepe is a simple and comforting dish that translates to "cheese and pepper"and is easy to make plant-based! Swap the traditional pecorino romano with vegan parmesan and you're on your way to the food equivalent to a warm hug.

Ingredients:
12 oz spaghetti
2/3 cup grated vegan parmesan, plus more for serving
2 Tbs extra virgin olive oil, plus more for serving
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
salt

Directions: In a pan just wide enough to hold your pasta, bring 1" of water plus a pinch of salt to a boil. Spread the spaghetti in the pan and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally to keep the pasta from sticking together. Let the pasta water reduce till only a slight coating remains at the bottom of the pan and the pasta is cooked al dente. Remove from heat. Add the ground black pepper and grated Parmesan. Stir and toss vigorously until both ingredients are well incorporated. Add the olive oil and season with salt. Transfer the pasta to a plate and garnish with more black pepper, shredded Parmesan, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy! 🥰

I wasn't a blue cheese gal back in my dairy-eating days, but I’ve realized I love cooking with the vegan version!

After a long week, I treated myself to the new Beyond steak topped with Peaceful Rebel Colorado Blue. The tang and richness of the cheese played well with the heavier, charred flavor of the steak. I topped mine with sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions and rounded it out with homemade steak fries and garlicky green beans. If you're not into meat alternatives, this would also be amazing on a grilled portobello cap!

The next thing I want to try to make is a blue cheese dressing. What do yall like to do with blue cheese?

Looking for an easy and delicious dinner? Try Indian-inspired pizza! Use a pre-made crust, your favorite takeout curry as the base, and Peaceful Rebel mozzarella. It melts perfectly over my favorite combo, vegan saag and extra firm tofu “paneer”. Isa Moskowitz’s malai kofta sauce also works great as a base. More deets on the website!

Didn’t take many pics at Luvin Arms Spring Fest, so my top assistants (Molly, Senja, and Sula) staged this dramatic reenactment of me handing out samples. I think they nailed the enthusiasm!

Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by, said howdy, and helped us spread vegan joy. We heard from a lot of folks that they want to see us in more local shops, so that’s something we’ll focus on achieving this year! I also loved hearing everyone’s new flavor ideas -- please keep them coming!
