“We at Emile’s are sad to report that our US flag was stolen over the Memorial day weekend. But it made our Marine Corps veteran owner Dave think that perhaps there are people in our community who need flags. therefore, we are handing out a USA flag, the proud emblem of the Free and the Brave, to the first 250 customers who come in and purchase sausages for their Fourth of July Independence Day barbecues. We are proud patriotic Americans of German ancestry and want to show you our love of America!”

We at Emil's Sausage Kitchen flew the Old Glory and someone needed it more, this note is for them.

I’m glad someone took the USA flag, they probably needed it and didn’t fly Old Glory because they didn’t have one. Hopefully we’ve made a patriot out of a thief. I just hope they understand how hard our brothers and sisters had to work bleeding and dying in order to fly that beautiful National Emblem freely!
