Finally moved the goats out to pasture!

One of the biggest lessons we learned last season caring for goats is to take it slow when changing their diet.

So these last 2 months I’ve been extremely careful in gradually adjusting Momma LaMancha’s food, prepping her for the pasture.

After 4 winter months of dry hay & feed, it would be catastrophic to throw her out into pasture without giving her gut adequate time to acclimate.

She seems to be doing really well, and I’m so thankful for that!

But, Lord knows I never thought I’d become a goat p**p expert 😆

We’re on ‘Baby Goat Watch’ starting today and through the next few days until they arrive!

With our experience from last year, David expects Momma is pregnant with 2 kids, and we want to make sure we are there when these little babies arrive (especially since it’s still a bit cold this season).
