My Toyota 2.0 engine is making a weird noise.

So this weird noise just pops up randomly.

When it happens, you can really hear it at idle speed around 800 RPM. As the RPM goes up, the noise gets faster too, and by the time you hit about 2000 RPM, it kinda gets lost in the engine sound. But when you let off the gas and the RPM drops back down to the 800 idle range, there it is again. Sometimes it only happens when the engine's cold and goes away once it warms up. Other times, it shows up after I've been driving on the highway and the engine's hot, especially when I stop. When this noise happens, I can feel the engine shaking more when I touch it. From what I can tell, the noise seems to be coming from something that's driven by the belt.
