If you missed this Sister to Sister 25th Anniversary Celebration, you missed a treat! Cancer survivors and fighters celebrated and were celebrated. So happy to be part of it all!
The icing on the cake was returning home to a crockpot-cooked meal & homemade bread!

Join us for a fun filled morning, as we recognize, celebrate and remember breast cancer survivors; those still fighting and those who are not. Sat. Oct 3rd, 8am until 12:30 at the Cedar Hill Recreation Center. There will be a 5k walk/run, vendors, speakers, games and lots more.

Join us at the Sister to Sister Fitness Festival this Sat October 3 from 9 til 1 at the Alan Simms Recreation Center in Cedar Hill Tx. Survivors, supporters, spouses and siblings will be walking and running in support of a cure for Breast Cancer.
Providence Preserves will be neither walking nor running. However, we will be SELLING PRESERVES to benefit the cause.

We had the privilege of witnessing history and legacy in full effect today. Smokey Johns' BBQ celebrated 50 years in business with an all-day Block Party for customers & the DFW community. This all-Black business was started by Brent & Juan's parents in Dallas 50 years ago. That alone is an amazing historical feat. But, the legacy continues as his sons, daughters and grandchildren continue to keep and grow what they started. Fifty years is a long time for anyone to remain in business; not to mention a minority owned one.
Congrats on 50 years Smokey Johns BBQ!
May you continue to grow and expand 50 more years!
