Let’s be transparent for a moment.🫣
When I looked at myself in the mirror, I felt insecure… ashamed. Imagine looking 6 months pregnant and actually not being pregnant. That was me!

What made it harder is I used to be fit. In shape. Confident.
But after having my two babies, going through a divorce, and life just lifing…
I fell into a deep depression and honestly let myself go.
I felt embarrassed. Disconnected from my body.
And what really triggered me was people saying, “But you’re skinny.”
As if being skinny means you can’t be inflamed, unhealthy, or struggling.
Like I wasn’t looking in the mirror every single day.
That’s when I realized my body wasn’t failing me.
It was talking to me. So I decided to listen.👂🏽

I had already cut out alcohol and sodas years ago,
but sweets, chips, dairy, and fast food had me in a chokehold😮‍💨 So I started there. Then I moved into juicing, intentional eating, and real healing not quick fixes.
I’m nowhere near my goal yet. I’m still healing everyday this is a life journey. This is just the beginning.

But seeing these results after 7 days has me excited and hopeful again.
If this is what 7 days of commitment can do…
I can’t wait to see what 30 days looks like.

I’ve been really intentional about what I put into my body… and let me be honest, it’s not always easy.

Some days I crave my old eating habits. Some days I want the quick comfort foods & some fast food. And every time I’ve doubled back and eaten something my body doesn’t agree with… she screams at me.
My skin reacts. My energy drops. My stomach hurts. My mood shifts.
My body lets me know immediately.

So now, I choose to make her feel good.
I choose foods that give me energy.
I choose things that help me heal.
I choose habits that make me look better, feel lighter, and move through my day with peace instead of discomfort.
And if you’re struggling with food… trust me, you’re not alone. We’ve ALL been there.

Healing your relationship with food takes time.
Just challenge yourself one day at a time…
then three days…
then a week…
and before you know it, you’re creating new habits that actually support you.

And the cool part?
You get creative with your cooking, I love to cook now vs going out to eat
After a while of not eating the things that hurt you… your body doesn’t even want them anymore.
Your cravings shift.
Your discipline strengthens.
Your healing becomes your new normal.
