Wonder what it takes to join the market and become a vendor at the Cook Area Farmers Market? Here are the basics:

1. Members who sell non craft goods must farm that product within a 40 mile radius of Cook.
2. Members who sell craft items, art and other non food products must produce, make item within 30 miles of Cook.

Only members may sell eligible products.

Potential members who live more than 40 miles from Cook may be considered for membership on a case by case basis.

Eligible products are items grown, harvested, or made by the member selling the same as follows:
1. Produce grown by or personally gathered by the member within 40 miles of Cook.
2. Arts and crafts
3. Homemade items and canned goods; and
4. Other items or services not enumerated acceptable to the market manager in consultation with the board that enhance the market and are consistent with its purpose.

Produce, crafts, and homemade items must be a good quality in the judgment of the market manager. The seller is responsible for payment of their our own sales tax and must abide by all state and local ordinances. 

Member ship dues are $40. Each vendor space is approximately 12x12 canopy.

The Cook Area Farmers Market operates under the jurisdiction of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and all members/vendors must follow the guidelines set by the State of Minnesota.
