Arkansas lost another legendary physical therapist, Rob Tillman. He was passionate about his profession, his family, his patients and so much more. His loss will be felt by so many throughout the country not just Arkansas. Our prayers go out to Rhonda and their children.

We’re looking to tell your stories this month!

Whether you’re a clinical specialist or new grad, practicing therapist or student… we want to hear from you.

This can be a highlight of your unique educational experience, interesting research at your university, new tech in your clinic, or a patient success story (to name a few ideas). If it’s meaningful to PT in the state of Arkansas, we want to know and get the word out.

Reach out via social media or send an email to [email protected] to get featured.

October is National Physical Therapy Month and APTA Arkansas is kicking it off by sponsoring a new podcast from members Nat Grubbs and Philip McKelvy. The sponsorship aims to add value to members and fellow PTs while the two co-hosts aim to have meaningful conversations that drive the profession forward.

Listen to episode one where Nat and Phil make their intro, discuss the origin of the name PT Nuance, and talk about a few times when their jobs felt more gray than black and white.

Check it out at ptnuance.buzzsprout.com or on any major podcast distributor including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Former APTA AR President and current AR House of Representatives Candidate Bo Renshaw took to the podium last Saturday night at the PT PAC and Best of the Best Awards Show.

Bo spoke to the importance of having a seat of the table as physical therapists both locally and nationally. He also spoke about the amazing skill set of relationship building that all PTs possess to help with that seat at the table.

Feel you can help in this regard, but don’t know how to get involved? Reach out. There’s someone in the board who’d be thrilled to have that conversation with you.

Public relations chair Philip McKelvy aka the guy running this account was awarded as Clinical Instructor of the Year for 2026.

Does he feel strange making a post congratulating himself? Absolutely.

Is he going to turn down the chance for an easy piece of content? Absolutely not.
