NOT ADVERTISING, more like an info dump: and: I did run this through chatGPT to check for accuracy and because I tend to get a little wordy... 😅
I recently joined Snipverse, a Web3 decentralized social platform built on the Proton (XPR) blockchain.
On Snipverse, I earn SNIPS (its native token) for posts, engagement, and tips. The platform also supports staking, which gives extra perks and rewards.
Now, I’m not here pushing anyone... I’ve tried platforms like this before with mixed results, but so far I like what I’m seeing and I'm just sharing the info becaus I think it is worth sharing.
A few things to note (in my experience):
• The site feels new and is in active development.
• In my browser, I had to adjust security settings (allow less-secure content) in order to get it to load properly.
• The comment / engagement UX isn’t yet as smooth as on big social platforms but this also encourages real organic engagement, so that may actually be a positive attribute.
For me, those are manageable tradeoffs so far, and the potential seems worth it. I started for free, and later put in about $20 (USD value) in SNIPS which I staked (and I haven’t lost value on those, in my case... the market value of course fluctuates, but I consider the units undervalued and the value they bring me useful for my personal goals.)
If the idea of decentralized social media, crypto rewards, and building something new interests you, you might want to check it out. Here’s my referral link (or you can just hunt it down yourself):

No pressure — but I think this kind of tech could bring something new and meaningful, and I’m glad I found a platform I can be excited about. I hope I see you there!
