We couldn't let the official start of pumpkin season and pass us by without sharing a couple of our favorite young entrepreneurs, Autumn and Aubree Martin. In her fifth season, Autumn is a market (and Monster cookie) legend, with Aubree right behind her. Make plans to support this talented duo Saturday, 9 until noon, at Fike Park.

Our secret is out.

The Hungry Heartland Project is featuring our market in its next installment. With both national and international recognition for cinematic excellence and contributions to important conversations around food security, this award-winning documentary series highlights rural communities and the people behind their local food systems.

On Saturday morning, student crews from Kansas and California will watch, listen, and tell our story.

Please join us as we celebrate our growth, from humble Wednesday evenings on Franklin to robust Saturday mornings at Fike Park. Places and faces have changed, but one thing remains the same: community. Thank you for showing up, buying local and supporting small businesses, week after week.

This is your story, too.

Just look at these beauties from the Create With Christine Fall Collection — we think her NEW paint kits are the best ones yet! There’s lots of critters, landscapes, and, of course, seasonal prints to choose from, for both children and adults. Make plans to shop with Christine Saturday, 9 until noon, in the northwest corner of Fike Park.

Kenny has been baking, gardening, and selling at the market alongside his mom Dana Broeckelman for as long as we can remember — that’s why it’s extra special welcoming him as a vendor with his very own enterprise! He’ll have a variety of pumpkins, big and small, traditional and decorative, available Saturday 9 until noon at Fike Park. This harvest is part of his ongoing 4H project and he tells us the proceeds will help fund his farming endeavors next year, so come out and support this hardworking, ambitious young entrepreneur!
