🌟 Today’s Learning in the Kitchen Class Was a Hit! 👩‍🍳🍓🥪

What an incredible morning at the homestead! Our young chefs rolled up their sleeves and got creative in the kitchen — and wow, did they shine!

From silly sandwich faces to sweet parfaits and tasty no-bake dessert jars, every station was filled with laughter, teamwork, and a whole lot of delicious fun. 🍞🍇🍫

We’re so proud of all our students for jumping in with enthusiasm and trying new things. Seeing their confidence grow with each step was the best part of all.

✔️ Made and Wrote in our garden journals 📓
✔️ Went on a scavenger hunt to discover all kinds of garden treasures 🔍🐝

So proud of this curious and creative group! Watching them dig, discover, and create brings so much JOY to our homestead. 💚🌿

Today’s Farm Animal Fun Day was a blast! 🐐🐓🦆
We had such a great time learning all about our chickens, goats, and ducks—and of course, getting up close and personal with them too! From collecting eggs to brushing goats and watching ducks waddle around, the kids were all smiles the whole morning.

We talked about animal safety, learned fun facts, and even made some adorable farm-themed crafts to take home. Seeing everyone so curious, brave, and excited to learn made our day. Thank you to all the families who joined us—your kiddos were amazing!

We can’t wait to see everyone again next time at the homestead!

🐓🐐 FARM ANIMAL FUN DAY is coming! 🐐🐓
We're kicking off our summer classes with one of our favorite days—Farm Animal Fun Day at the Homestead! 🎉

Your kiddos will:
✨ Feed the goats and chickens
🐣 Collect fresh eggs
🧼 Help brush and care for our animals
🎨 Make fun animal crafts
📸 And of course, get some adorable farm photo ops!

It’s hands-on, educational, and a whole lot of fun.
Class starts June 4th from 9:00 AM–11:30 AM at 140 Sandis Lane, Palmyra TN.

We can’t wait to share the joy of the farm with your little ones!

Our Homestead Academy End of the Year Cookout was this evening. Our home was filled with laughter, joy, and the kind of love that only comes from being together. Hearing the kids giggle, watching them run and play, and seeing their smiles light up the evening — it was everything I didn’t know I’d been missing.

These kids are so special, and so are their families. I’ve missed them more than words can say. Their kindness, their support, and their presence here tonight reminded me why we started this in the first place.

The kids loved visiting the garden, checking on the plants they once helped tend, and harvesting what was ready to enjoy — some they ate right then and there, and some they proudly took home. 🌿🍅

Thank you, truly, to every family who came out tonight. You made this place feel like home again. 💛
