Calendula Salve!
All summer I harvest and dry calendula flowers. Then in the fall I infuse oils with the dried flowers for months, then strain off the liquid gold! This fall I infused organic EVOO and organic Argan oils. I made each of these oils into one batch of salves. EVOO on the left, Argan oil on the right. These salves are great for literally anything! Acne, dry skin, bug bites, bruises, scrapes, burns, skin irritations, diaper rash, the list goes on and on! Lip balm is coming soon!

Canuary Project 6 - Butternut Squash & White Bean Soup! If I’m being honest, Canuary is starting to whoop my hind end. I’ve been pulling jars out of the canner around midnight for each of the projects so far. But the feeling I get each time I put more full jars on the shelf, is worth it and keeps me going! It’s time to plan out to recipes and get a grocery haul to fill in the gaps of what we don’t already have on hand. I’m thinking some meat recipes are coming up, I want to work through some freezer inventory, I just have to plan accordingly to properly defrost.
