Daily surprises!

Muscovy ducklings never cease to surprise me with the diversity of color when hatched and how they completely change colors before being fully grown.

I love our life on the farm and coexisting with nature! Even after all these years, I see or learn something new almost everyday.

This was first for me!! Look close and notice that the common box turtle is eating a snake! I knew they would eat the occasional earth worm, but never thought about this happening!

Box turtles and many species that are considered vegetarian will eat other animals for the protein and energy bust right before hibernation.
