Chocolate M&M Celebration Cake 🍰🎉
A fun celebration cake that appeals to both the eyes and the palate, with soft chocolate cake layers, silky chocolate cream, and colorful M&Ms.

Ingredients
For the Chocolate Cake
• 2 ½ cups flour
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• ¾ cup cocoa powder (sifted)
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 eggs (at room temperature)
• 1 cup milk
• ½ cup vegetable oil
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 cup hot water (or hot coffee – for aroma)

Chocolate Cream (Ganache Buttercream)
• 200 g dark chocolate
• 200 ml liquid cream
• 150 g butter (at room temperature)
• 1 ½ cups powdered sugar

For the Filling & Topping
• 1 – 1 ½ cups M&M’s
• Optional: chocolate chips, colored sprinkles

Preparation
1. Preparing the Cake
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Grease and flour two 20–22 cm springform pans.
3. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
4. Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract, and beat until smooth.
5. Finally, add the hot water (the batter will be runny).
6. Divide the batter evenly between the pans.
7. Bake for 30–35 minutes. Remove from the oven when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Let the cakes cool completely.

2. Chocolate Cream
1. Heat the cream, remove from heat before boiling.
2. Add the chocolate, wait 2 minutes, then stir until melted.
3. When it reaches room temperature, add the butter and powdered sugar and beat until fluffy.

3. Assembling the Cake
1. Place the first cake layer on a serving plate.
2. Spread chocolate cream on top and sprinkle with M&M's.
3. Cover with the second cake layer.
4. Cover the entire cake with chocolate cream.

4. Decorating
• Place plenty of M&M's on the sides and top.
• Finish with chocolate drips, sprinkles, or candles as desired 🎉

Serving Suggestion
🕰️ Let the cake rest in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours before slicing.
It will cut more cleanly and the flavor will settle 😍
