Happy Saturday! The Farm Stand is open and stocked with mums and dahlias!

As we sadly get closer to the first frost, we still have TONS of dahlias. If you'd like some we can also offer them individually for $1 a stem. You can come pick your own, or we can set up a time to have them picked up. I really would love to see them get picked and be used instead of going to waste.

Ottos Thrill, the dahlia that started it all.
It's ture when they say flowers, especially dahlias, are addictive. You cant just have one. They are all so pretty how can you pick just one!? That's like picking a favorite child!

Last year it all started with dabbling in flowers and Ottos Thrill was my first dahlia I ever bought. Now we're here with a 52' x 50' flower garden and WAY more dahlias 😅. But the insanity is part of the fun 🤪

This year, we completely changed up our tomato setup in the garden. In the past, we’ve tried tomato cages and using string, but neither method was very successful. Our first year, we had a decent yield, but last year our tomatoes became overcrowded, got diseases, and produced very little fruit.

Always looking for ways to improve, I noticed a friend growing her tomato plants between cattle panels, which allowed them to grow 6+ feet tall. We decided to give it a try this year, and it has resulted in our best tomato harvest yet!

Now that we’re at the end of the season, the garden hasn’t been our top priority and has gotten a little out of hand. We’re trying to get everything cleaned up and prepared for winter while also preserving as many fresh vegetables as we can. We’re canning what we can and tossing the rest in the freezer to can later.

Yesterday, we were able to can 17 pints of salsa! 🌱🍅

The temperature is looking questionable Monday night 🥶 so if you're looking for flower this weekend is time time to get them!

If youd like a bucket of dahlias, we're offering them for just $30! We'd hate to see them all die due to frost. Send us a message if you're interested!
Most big name stores charge $6 a stem for dahlias, so this is a killer deal 🌸

We will have a limited number of mums in pumpkins so if you would like one be sure to stop by early 🎃

Our spot will be towards Jaycee Park and Franklin St. We'll be working hard this week to get all of our products stocked up and ready for Saturday! We can’t wait to see everyone!
