🐝 Ingredient Spotlight: Beeswax 🐝

One of our favorite natural skincare ingredients is beeswax! Not only is it a wonderful gift from hardworking honeybees, but it also provides amazing benefits for your skin.

✨ Why We Love Beeswax:

💛 Locks in Moisture
Beeswax creates a breathable protective barrier on the skin that helps seal in hydration.

🖤 Protects Against the Elements
Whether it's cold winter winds or dry summer air, beeswax helps shield your skin from environmental stressors.

💛 Soothes Dry, Irritated Skin
Its natural anti-inflammatory properties can help calm and comfort rough, dry, or sensitive skin.

🖤 Rich in Vitamin A
Beeswax contains Vitamin A, which helps maintain smooth, nourished skin.

🌼 We love incorporating beeswax into our products because it helps create rich, nourishing formulas while supporting the natural health of your skin.

🐝 Fun Fact: Every ounce of beeswax is made by honeybees working together to build and maintain their hive.

Whew... it's been a busy weekend around here! 🌱🌼

The garden is finally starting to come to life, and so many flowers are beginning to bloom. A friend came into town and helped get all the zinnias planted (thank goodness for extra hands! 🙌).

I keep catching myself thinking we're "behind" on planting, but then I remember we're literally starting from square one this year. Progress is progress! And honestly, it's exciting to see things taking off already! It's only been a week since we planted the garden, and the beans are already sprouting. 🌱

Anyone else feel like they're running behind in the garden this year? What's growing (or blooming) in your yard right now?

Our pumpkin patch line up this year 🎃

We also added trellis because last year the pumpkins did not do well growing on the ground. That's the fun part about gardening, each year you learn, adapt and get better 👩🏽‍🌾

What are you growing this year?!

Homestead garden planting hack 👩🏽‍🌾

This drill auger has been a TOTAL game changer for planting our garden this year!

It comes in two sizes, the smaller one was perfect for planting seeds, and the larger size made planting our pepper and tomato starters quick and easy. 🍅🌶️

Honestly, it’s SO much faster and easier than using a small hand shovel. Just attach it to your drill and let it do the work!

If you’re planting a garden this season, this is definitely one tool worth having!

It has been a VERY busy weekend… which explains being MIA on social media for a few days 😅

The 2026 garden is officially planted! 🌱
Mother Nature really said “you’ll earn this one” with the nonstop game of dodge-the-rain followed immediately by “survive the high UV” ☀️🥵

We also got the flower garden gate built!

This week’s mission: finish and plant the flower garden before the weeds start paying property taxes 🌻🌼🪻

We finally got all the dahlias planted today 🙌🏻🌸

Yes, we know planting in wet soil is basically gardening roulette and the tubers could rot… but at this point it was either plant them now or explain to the dahlias why they’re still living in Ziplocks at the end of May 😅

Now begins the hardest part of gardening: aggressively staring at dirt every day waiting for blooms 🌱👀
