Big Grove Apiaries Urban beekeeping in the heart of Urbana-Champaign. Big Grove Apiaries is located in the heart of the City of Champaign.

Urban beekeeper, Bryan Miller, started with a single hive in 2012 by relocating a swarm from the heavily-populated campus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to a less congested area. In 2021, Big Grove Apiaries has grown to 25 large and healthy hives in 6 locations.

Urban beekeeper, Bryan Miller, started with a single hive in 2012 by relocating a swarm from the heavily-populated campus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to a less congested area. Summer 2018, Big Grove Apiaries has grown to 18 large and healthy hives in 3 locations.
