Founded in 2018, Nimble Farms (formerly Ellicottville Greens) is changing the way we think about local farming. Using hydroponic technology in repurposed, climate-controlled shipping containers, our modular farms can be set up just about anywhere and scaled to fit any need, making it easy to grow fresh food year-round. With energy-efficient LED lights, water and nutrient systems that recycle, and

temperature controls that keep everything just right, we’re able to grow plants in a way that’s good for the environment and great for the produce. We’re powered by renewable energy—thanks to local solar, wind, and hydroelectric sources—helping us reduce our carbon footprint while growing fresh, pesticide-free, non-GMO crops. From living lettuces and herbs to microgreens and mushrooms, we’re proud to provide hundreds of varieties of produce to our community all year long. Plus, we grow and deliver our food within 50 miles, ensuring it’s in your hands just 1-2 days after harvest! At Nimble Farms, we’re all about working with local partners, from supermarkets to schools to hospitals, to bring fresh, healthy food to neighborhoods across New York and the Northeast. You can find our produce in Tops Friendly Markets and other local stores. We're committed to making a positive impact on the environment and our local economy, one farm at a time. With farms in Olean and Buffalo, NY, we’re growing and expanding—aiming to bring 100 farms to the region in the next decade.
