š¾ Five Weeks Old Already š¾
How can five weeks go by so quickly?
It feels like just yesterday we were welcoming these precious little corgi puppies into the world, watching them take their very first breaths and praying for healthy, thriving babies. Now, here we are five weeks later, and those tiny newborns have transformed into playful, curious, energetic little dogs with personalities that are impossible not to fall in love with.
This week has been one of our favorites so far. The puppy pen is no longer quiet and sleepyāitās full of adventure, excitement, and nonstop entertainment. Every corner holds something worth investigating, every sibling is a wrestling partner, and every human who sits down instantly becomes a climbing toy and cuddle buddy.
Their little personalities are becoming clearer every day. We have the brave explorers who are always the first to try something new, the sweet snugglers who would rather curl up in your lap, and the mischievous ones who seem determined to keep everyone laughing. Watching each puppy grow into their own unique little self is one of the most rewarding parts of raising a litter.
One of the things we treasure most is seeing how much they trust us already. They run toward us when we enter the room, climb into our laps, and seek out affection. These moments remind us why we dedicate so much time and love to raising our puppies. The goal has never been simply to raise puppiesāit has always been to raise confident, well-socialized companions who will bring joy to their future families.
Mama continues to amaze us every day. She has been such a loving, attentive mother and has taught her babies so much already. Watching her gently guide them through these early weeks has been beautiful. As they become more independent, we know her role will slowly change, but the bond they share is something truly special.
Our boys have loved every minute of helping raise this litter. From puppy snuggles to playtime and helping with daily care, these puppies have become a huge part of our familyās everyday life. The lessons our children learn through caring for animalsāresponsibility, patience, kindness, and unconditional loveāare lessons that will stay with them forever.
There are moments when the puppy messes seem endless, when sleep is short, and when there is always one more chore waiting to be done. But then a tiny puppy falls asleep in your arms, gives you a sloppy puppy kiss, or wags their tail as they run toward you, and suddenly every bit of hard work feels worthwhile.
We are so grateful for everyone who has followed along on this journey, cheered these babies on, and supported our program. These puppies are being raised with our whole hearts, and it means so much to share their story with all of you.
Five weeks down, and our hearts are already preparing for the bittersweet reality that they wonāt stay this little forever. For now, weāre soaking up every puppy cuddle, every playful bark, and every precious moment.
They are growing up far too fast, but what a blessing it has been to watch.
