In March of 2020 when this all started it was to lift up our neighbors. Yesterday I was reminded of that checking out items at a local store the cashier saw I had some fun stuff for our country’s 250th celebration. She commented on how nice it is to see everyone decorating. She also said it is so nice because we all support one another we lift each other up.

Right there is why this mission was started 6 years ago!!

“We all support one another and lift each other up” .

It is not necessarily about all the blessings we receive to fill the blessing boxes. Although it is nice that is not what we are about. Some blessing box guests are not just looking for food they are looking to be lifted up they just want to see someone cares. ♥️

We work as a group to add a spark of that neighbors love , come be lifted, be fed, be inspired, be loved. ♥️

That is what this little mission is about a spark in the heart. Which is missing in so much these days and so thankful to God for bringing this mission here to be something different not just about food although that is a big part, but someone is thinking “I need some soap” “I need that bottle of water I’m thirsty right now” “I gave my neighbor my last can of tuna, I will take this to him since he can’t afford it “ “ I just want something sweet I don’t buy sweets because it is just too much to finish for just me” “you know why I’m here I love crochet items they make my week” Each person that is a guest is respected and raised up and of course they have no label but are a blessing even if they are feeling down they are a blessing.

We are all a blessing not a label. We lift but we do it silently and anonymously because you know the heart is humble ♥️. The love is to where we are led by God and this is where we are led to help those we do not know.

We received a request for emergency assistance for a Hellertown family who will now be unexpectedly caring for 3 additional children. We have connected and directed them to community partners however we created a little wish list to help in the interim. I will be accepting gift cards as well through the weekend and arranging dropping off. ❤️maryann

In Memory of our community friend Tracy we have followed her lead and picked up on a project she started in creating one of her favorite prayer Chaplets that she felt comforted when making these and praying them during her treatments.

If anyone in Hellertown/Lower Saucon community is going through medical challenges please message us and we would love to gift you a Guardian Angel Chaplet in Tracy’s memory.

We know needs come in many ways this is one of comfort when going through difficult times medically as Tracy did with a smile, faith and love that she never stopped even when she was in the fight of her life.

Thank you for being part of our blessing box mission and supporting our neighbors in small ways.
