🌽 Strawberry Popcorn 🌽

Yesterday, Lou helped plant our strawberry popcorn. We laid branches across the bed to keep the cats out until the seeds sprout.

A handful of kernels. A little dirt. A lot of help.

Now we wait. ❤️

🌿 Homeschool Thursday 🌿

Today's word was F.A.R.M.

The kids hunted for clues, explored the trail, found a Flower, an Antler, a Rock, and Mud, then spent the rest of the play time building onto their fort in the woods.

Simple adventures are still the favorite around here.

🐔 Little farmhouse update 🐔

This weekend we brought home pullets and officially finished the coop setup. Now we wait for those first fresh eggs 🤞🥚

One thing that made this project fun was seeing how much we could piece together from things we already had around the house instead of buying everything brand new. The coop itself started from an old dog box and leftover fencing.

Still very much in the learning and growing stage over here, but excited to add chickens into the mix at Eller’s Farmhouse Pantry 🌿
