Want to try something new? I just dropped off more blueberry jams at the Abbot Superette and brought them a new flavor: Strawberry Rhubarb Apple Jelly. Get it while you can and see the rest of the interesting inventory while you're there!

I *finally* put a few jars of jams/jelly/relishes in the Abbot Superette! If you would like to check them out I have seedless Blackberry Jelly (Abbot blackberries, Wild Maine Blueberry Jam (with Monson blueberries), or Blueberry Rhubarb Jam (even the rhubarb is picked locally!). For relishes there is Bread and Butter Zucchini Relish (zucchini grown in my own garden last year and peppers from my mother-in-law's garden), Chow Chow Relish (not really sweet or sour), or Dixie relish (which is kind of a saurkraut relish). There is only one jar of each for now but if you let me know what you'd like more of, we can make it happen!

ONE STEP CLOSER! I printed off the ingredient labels this morning to put on the jams/jellies/relishes/fruit butter. Once they're applied it will be ready to take down to the Abbot Superette. I spoke with them over a week ago about putting some of my preserves in the store alongside the other amazing Maine made or gathered items they have available (honey, maple syrup, chaga, and beautiful photographs to mention a few). I meant to ask them months ago, but had seen canned goodies in there already. That is what I get for allowing doubt to get in my way! Thanks to a conversation between the owners and Victor Morin they heard about my treats and wanted to see more! Thanks so much, Victor! I will be sure to let you all know what ends up on the shelves, hopefully this weekend! :) Have a GREAT day everyone!

In 2013 I decided to take a chance and try my hand at selling some of my canned items. Thanks to your support my efforts were not in vain. I'll be offering new treats in 2014. With all the selection it can be difficult to decide what to buy for someone else. I will also be offering gift certificates in 2014 so you can give a certificate and they can do the deciding! They can be purchased in any amount and on the back is an explanation of how to redeem the certificate as well as what it is good for (these can be used to purchase jams, jellies, relishes, pre-made baskets or they can custom order a basket of their preference). Looking forward to 2014 and all it has to offer! Wishing you all a safe New Year's Eve and a happy, healthy 2014!

Good morning, Everyone! I've finally priced my relishes, jams, and jellies. The most common size jar I offer is an 8 ounce. I do have some pints (16 oz) and a few sample jars (4 oz) to determine prices on but all 8 ounce jars are $4.

The biggest complaint anyone usually has about blackberry and raspberry jam is the seeds so I decided to try making blackberry jelly. I would have taken a picture of it on my toast but it didn't last long enough! :)
