Earth is one of the Roman's deities and the name of our planet.
Like other planets(Jupiter, the King of gods and Goddesses, Saturn, also called Satan), which are named after Roman's deities.
Earth (Tellus in Latin) was a deity in Roman mythology who personified the Earth. She was often depicted as a fertile, nurturing figure who presided over the growth of crops and the fertility of the land. Her worship was particularly important to farmers and those who relied on the land for their livelihoods.
In Roman religion, the Earth was seen as a goddess who had both a physical and spiritual presence. She was believed to be the mother of the Roman people and was associated with the goddess Ceres, who was the patroness of agriculture. The festival of Cerialia, held in April, was dedicated to both deities and was an important time for prayers and offerings to ensure a good harvest.
The worship of Earth as a deity was also connected to the Roman concept of the "Lar" or "Lares," which were household gods who protected the family and its property. The Lares of the Earth were particularly important for farmers, as they were believed to watch over the fields and ensure a bountiful harvest.
Earth was a deity in Rome who was worshipped for her role in agriculture, fertility, and protection. Her worship was an integral part of Roman life and culture, particularly for those who depended on the land for their livelihoods.
