I’ll be honest,when we first asked ourselves, “Can we deliver fruits in under 30 minutes?” it sounded a bit crazy. In Kampala traffic? During a busy day? It felt like a big challenge. But we decided to try.
The order came in on the phone,simple and quick. A customer wanted fresh fruits: bananas, pineapple, watermelon, and a few oranges. Nothing too complicated, but the clock started ticking immediately. You know how it is… once someone is hungry or craving something fresh, every minute feels long.
We moved fast. Packing started right away. The fruits were carefully selected, clean, fresh, and colorful. No one wants bruised bananas or dry pineapple. We packed everything neatly, making sure it looked as good as it tastes. Because honestly, presentation matters, especially for us young people who love sharing good food moments.
Then came the real test ,the delivery ride.
The rider jumped on the boda, and off he went. Kampala roads are not always easy ,traffic, bumps, people crossing ,but he kept going. There’s that feeling you get when you’re racing against time, heart beating a little faster, hoping everything goes smoothly.

Some mornings in Uganda feel rushed. Many young people wake up early for work, university, or their small businesses. Sometimes we even skip breakfast because we feel we don’t have time.
