Top 3 Meat Cuts & Their Perfect Recipes
1. Ribeye
Pan-Seared with Garlic Butter
Ribeye Ingredients:
1 Ribeye steak (approx. 300–350g)
Salt & freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, smashed
Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
Ribeye Recipe:
Take the ribeye out of the fridge 30 mins before cooking.
Pat dry and generously season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a cast iron pan on high until smoking.
Add olive oil, then sear the steak for 3–4 minutes on each side.
Reduce heat, add butter, garlic, and herbs.
Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak repeatedly for 1–2 minutes.
Remove, rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
2. Tenderloin Medallions
With Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Tenderloin Medallions Ingredients:
250–300g beef tenderloin (cut into 2 medallions)
Salt & pepper
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup mushrooms (sliced)
1/2 cup cream
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 garlic clove (minced)
Optional: Dijon mustard or Worcestershire sauce.
Tenderloin Medallions Recipe:
Season medallions with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in pan, sear medallions 3 minutes per side. Set aside.
In same pan, add butter + garlic + mushrooms. Sauté 2 minutes.
Add cream, black pepper, and a touch of mustard. Stir until creamy.
Add back the medallions. Simmer for 2–3 mins.
Serve hot with mashed potatoes or rice.
3. BBQ Brisket
Slow Cooked Perfection
BBQ Brisket Ingredients:
500g beef brisket
Dry rub: paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, cumin
2 tbsp oil
1 cup BBQ sauce
Optional: beef broth for moisture
BBQ Brisket Recipe:
Rub the brisket generously with the dry spice mix.
Let it rest for 30 minutes to absorb the flavor.
Heat oil in a large skillet and sear the brisket on both sides until browned (3–4 minutes per side).
Transfer to a slow cooker or deep pot.
Pour BBQ sauce over the brisket. Add beef broth if using.
Cook on low heat for 6–8 hours (or in oven at 150°C for 4–5 hours, covered).
Once tender, shred or slice as preferred.
Serve with coleslaw, buns, or mashed potatoes.
