ALWAYS BUY FROM THEM - They are not selling to get rich, they are selling to survive
These sellers aren’t selling beside the streets to amass wealth; they’re here to make ends meet. Each sale might mean food on the table, basic necessities, or support for loved ones.
When you buy from them, please avoid bargaining—your purchase could be their only income for the day.
Your understanding and kindness go a long way, not just in providing them with the dignity of a fair exchange but in helping sustain their livelihood.
BUSINESS VS LIVELIHOOD
Business: This term typically refers to an organized effort to produce and sell goods or services for profit. Businesses are generally aimed at growth, scalability, and financial gain. A business often has a broader purpose, seeking to generate income beyond basic needs, with a focus on building assets, investing, and expanding over time.
Livelihood: Livelihood refers to the means by which a person secures the essentials needed to live, such as food, shelter, and clothing. When someone is working for their livelihood, they are often operating on a much smaller scale, focusing on survival rather than profit. It’s a more personal, day-to-day pursuit, aimed at sustaining oneself or one’s family rather than building wealth.
