🤝💚 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦.

𝗬𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, Governor 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗦. 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼 gathered Cebu's mayors and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to strengthen collaboration and align the province's development priorities under a shared vision for a better Cebu.

Among the key matters discussed were the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 (𝗣𝗗𝗜𝗣), priority projects under the 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 (𝗔𝗜𝗣), regional economic performance, and coordinated measures to strengthen Cebu's defenses against 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 (𝗔𝗦𝗙).

One message stood out during the gathering:

"You are not under me. You are all with me. Kuyog tang tanan to give Cebu the best."

This reflects a leadership approach that values 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 in serving every Sugboanon.

This milestone also highlights the importance of 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. When government, schools, teachers, parents, and local communities work together, our youth are empowered to reach greater heights and pursue innovation with confidence.

💚📱 𝗕𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗.

Social media has become a powerful part of our daily lives. It can educate, inspire, and connect people—but it can also expose our children to negativity, hostility, and online bullying if left unchecked.

Governor 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗦. 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼 reminds us of an important responsibility:

"Bantayan nato ang atong mga anak, especially in social media karon. The atmosphere is angry kaayo, especially with the presence aning mga trolls. It is creating an atmosphere of animosity in social media."

As parents, guardians, educators, and members of the community, let us take an active role in guiding our children—not only in the real world but also in the digital world. Let us teach them to use social media with 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

During the send-off at the 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗹, Governor 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼 reaffirmed the Provincial Government's commitment to inclusive public service through the 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿, which seeks to ensure 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 for all Sugboanons.

Her message was simple yet meaningful:

"Diri sa Probinsya sa Sugbo, walay Cebuano nga mabiyaan. Everyone is included."

One of the greatest measures of public service is the experience of the people it serves.

A heartfelt post from Jonah Pableo Alberca shared her family's recent experience at Barili District Hospital, where her husband received medical care. She expressed her gratitude for the improved hospital services—from the availability of doctors and 24/7 laboratory examinations to the attentive nurses, dedicated hospital staff, and cleaner facilities.

She also shared how their hospital bill, which was close to ₱10,000, was fully covered upon discharge through PhilHealth, easing a significant financial burden on their family.

These stories remind us that improvements in healthcare are not just seen in reports—they are felt by patients and their loved ones during the moments when they need help the most.

As part of the 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 celebration, the 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, together with partner agencies, local government units, people's organizations, volunteers, and the private sector, successfully planted 𝟰,𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁-𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 across 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗚𝗨𝘀 in Cebu.
