Kia Ora,
It’s been a while since we last shared our journey.
We’ve finally found our new ‘Nirav’ in Whakamarama—a place that already feels alive with possibility, learning, and quiet beginnings.
This land is slowly introducing itself to us through its native trees and old stories. Kauri stands like a deep-rooted ancestor, holding time in its presence. Mataī brings strength and stillness, teaching patience in growth. Tōtara and rimu speak of resilience through seasons, while pūriri reminds us of generosity in the way it supports life around it.
Alongside them, panga, kawakawa, and other natives weave a softer layer of healing, shelter, and nourishment for the land and everything living within it.
Instead of sunrise over the Ruahine Ranges, we now end our days watching stunning sunsets settle over the Kaimai Range.
We are only at the beginning here—not rushing to shape the land, but learning to listen first. To understand its seasons, its rhythms, and the quiet wisdom already rooted here long before us.
More chapters to come from our new Nirav 🌿
