Today we received our first shipment of freshly milled stoneground flour from 🌾

Biogro certified organic, using New Zealand grown grains, stoneground flour retains some of the bran, germ, fibre and oils giving it better flavour with more nutrients. Organic grains are grown with respect for the land, avoiding synthetic pesticides and supporting long term soil health.

Available in 2kg bags, white, wholemeal, rye and spelt options.

In Albany store & online now, coming to Glen Innes on Friday.

Tallow skincare has taken over the internet in the past couple of years, and for good reason. It is nutrient-dense and contains fatty acids, making it very compatible with human skin to deliver deep hydration. It helps restore skin barrier and soothe dryness, making it ideal for all ages and anyone with sensitive/ reactive skin.

Matakana Tallow Co. uses 100% grass-fed, free-range beef raised with high animal welfare and natural farming practices. The farm they source their tallow from have been farming on the same land in the Matakana area for four generations, since 1910. Their cattle are truly their lives, and they strive to provide as natural a lifestyle as possible. The cattle are kept in small herds and remain in these herds their entire lives, living low-intervention lives with only necessary care provided early on.

What stood out for us is unlike other tallow companies who potentially source tallow from up to 6+ cows, Matakana Tallow Co. pride themselves in being small-batch with each batch only containing tallow from 1 to 2 animals - which means they can batch trace right back to the farm they came from and even the paddock they came from.
