Yesterday, something shifted in Yenagoa. 🩸❤️

We walked into classrooms full of girls who had never been told that their bodies were not a burden. We left with something we didn’t expect — tears, hugs, and the quiet but powerful sound of young girls finally feeling seen.

Period Bestie showed up for 200 girls across 15 schools in Yenagoa yesterday — and we didn’t just hand out pads. We had conversations. We asked questions. We listened. We educated. We watched girls who were once embarrassed to say the word “period” begin to own it.

Because every girl deserves to bleed with dignity. 🌸

This is why Period Bestie exists. Not just for products ;but for MOMENTS like this.

These facilitators will be leading impactful sessions focused on menstrual hygiene awareness, personal care, self-confidence, health education, and meaningful conversations aimed at empowering the girl child to live boldly and confidently.

Through knowledge sharing and open minded discussions, this outreach seeks to break stigmas, promote healthy hygiene practices, and encourage every girl to embrace her body,worth and potential.
