Good morning, mothers. Since yesterday, sleep has cleared from my eyes. My husband-to-be's mum said I will use her wedding gown on our wedding in April. She said she wants me to look like her on that day. I told my man, and he said if I can’t wear it, then there will be no marriage. I don’t know what to do now.

I need advice please.

I am 21 years old and i got a force job.
I started my training october 2023 fastforward to december 2023 one of us who we got employed together started asking me out.
After months of persuading decided to accept him.
We started d@ting and before i accepted him i asked him if he was married and had children he denied.
Unknown to me that he had aband0ned his wife and 4 kids in the village to come to calabar to for work.

I did my findings and i was told he has wife and children i asked him and he denied,i even cloned his phone to mine i still couldnt find anything.

He came for introduction and engagement last year december.unknown to me that i was pr€gn@nt bevause i was seeing my period for 3 months without knowing

Now i'm 5 months and few weeks gone.
He came around to my mom's shop yedterday and unknown to me that someone who knows him very well from the village saw me with him.

Only for my mom to be told today that he has a wife and 4 children that he even mvrd£red someone and dumped in a nearby village,omo the old woman narrated all his life history to my mom today.

I've never seen my parents this disap0inted and an*gry.

I'm really confused and i've made up my mind to go to the h0spital to have an emergency c-s€cti0n to ev@cvate the baby.

Please nobody should judge me and please your advice is needed on what to do next

Four years ago, I was desperate for a bush faller ( man from Europe or America) so, my sister helped me create a profile on a d@ting s¡te. 💁‍♀️💁‍♀️

I never expected to meet someone special, but he found me and said he wanted to marry me. He was young, handsome, and well-off. He came to meet my family with his cousin. 🤗🤗

Ah, he seemed so in love with me! I had never seen a man so caring. He did everything my family asked, even provided the bride price.😘😘

After visiting, he went back to his country, and we started preparing our marriage papers. God blessed us, and a few months later, I flew to join him. They said I was lucky because everything was going well. ✈️💞

When I arrived, he introduced me to his family. They were very kind and welcomed me with open arms. My husband worked in the family business and had a sister who quickly accepted me. ☺️☺️

My husband asked me what I wanted to do, and I began thinking about my future. But one day, as I was searching in his room, I found a strange piece of paper. 😏😏

I didn't even know what I was looking for. It had a picture of a girl who looked like my husband. I stared at it in confusion. The name sounded familiar; I had heard my mother-in-law joke about someone with that name before.🫢🤨

I asked who it was, and everyone looked at me. I smiled, pretending that I knew. But inside, my brain was working hard to understand what was happening. 🤔💔

After two days of thinking, I finally asked him. he didnt deny it. Instead, he told me that he did feel like a man and began his change at eighteen. 😱😱

He had sμrg£ry at twenty-four. I was in shock! I felt like my world was cr§shing down. I thought perhaps someone was using sorcery on me. 😳😳

I cri£d so much, and my he was he@vy. He said he still loved me and wanted us to be happy together. But how could I have known? He had f00led me all this time. I thought of having children, yet every month, I waited in vain. 😭😭

My baby daddy left me without a trace when I was four months pregnant with my son. All my efforts to reach him proved ab0rtive, and I was left to fend for myself and my unborn child. It wasn't easy, but I scaled through anyways. But that is not the issue right now because that seed that was growing inside of me is now a man, 27 years old and doing very well in his career. After his graduation, he relocated to a different town where he rented an apartment, and we have been staying together. The problem is that since I moved in with my son, I found myself in constant c0mbat with any lady I see around him. I would get jealous and angry, and I would say things that I would later r£gret. Because of me, my son had had more than three breakμps in the last two years. The ladies would get tired of my constant interference and would eventually leave him. The last one was the w0rst. I had slãpped one of the girl when she insisted on passing the night with my son in his room. That night, my son raised his voice at me for the first time. He even went to the extent of threatening to leave the house and never return. I was devastated, and I apologized profusely. I promised to change, because I never wanted to hurt my son. I realized that I had been selfish and that my actions were affecting his happiness. So, I made a conscious effort to change and to be more supportive of his relationships. Some months later, he brought another lady home and introduced her to me as his fiancée. I was not happy, but I had no choice. I had to accept her and try to make the best of the situation. He married her, and they are two months together now. But no matter how hard I tried to be happy for my son and his wife, it's just not working out. Whenever I see them together, I can't explain the feelings. I feel like something precious is being taken away from me. Recently, I noticed that I'm beginning to develop an impμre feeling towards my s0n.

During pregnancy, a woman's brain shrinks in size.

This is why some pregnant women may experience small, sometimes subtle deficits in tasks, like recalling items from a list they have studied, or remembering to do certain things in the future.

After delivering the baby, it would take up to six months for the mother's brain to regain its original size. The cells in the brain reduce in size without reducing in number. In other words, neuron density remains the same, which is why the brain capacity returns to normal after childbirth.

A study published in Nature Neuroscience revealed that pregnant women experience a decrease in gray matter in specific brain regions responsible for social cognition and forming attachments. However, this loss of gray matter actually enhances a mother's feelings of attachment to her baby and improves her ability to understand their needs and emotions.

Using MRI scans, researchers examined the brains of pregnant women before and after giving birth. They discovered that the reduction in gray matter in specific brain regions actually improves the brain's efficiency in understanding nonverbal cues from newborns.

This change enables mothers to quickly identify potential dangers and enhances their emotional connection with their babies. The first study was published in the American Journal of Neuroradiology, and it’s entitled, “Change in brain size during and after pregnancy: study in healthy women and women with preeclampsia”. The second study was published in Nature Neuroscience and it’s entitled, “Pregnancy leads to long-lasting changes in human brain structure”

I married my husband for 15 years. My husband had a side chick who he wasn’t hiding anymore from me. He told me he wants to marry her as his second wife. With all of this, I was thebreadwinnerr of our home (rent, food, clothing, school fee and more) But I never complained once, this man brought this lady to our home, a house I paid the rent to spend the weekend according to him he wants us to get to know ourselves more. Surprise right?

I moved out from the house quietly with my kids without his knowledge traveled to a different state. After many months of leaving, we were in communication on/off, after a while he started begging and pleading that he cannot do without us, he has chase the woman away. With both families we reconciled.

After getting back together for 7 months, I found out he had gotten another woman pregnant. He tried to say it was the devil’s work, but I acted like everything was fine, left, and never looked back. I’m happier now, living my best life with our three kids. I changed my number, and it’s been two years now with no regrets. I just moved into a beautiful 4-bedroom apartment that I built on my own.
