The psalmist asks God to "teach us to number our days," which means to be mindful of the brevity and fragility of human life.

KEY ASPECTS
Brevity of Life
You must recognizes that life is short and fleeting.

MINDFULNESS
The request to "number our days" implies a desire to be intentional and mindful of how time is spent.

Are you mindful of what you are doing now knowing that time may be very short, how many more years do you have to spend on earth before returning home? please be mindful it may happen now.

WISDOM
The goal is to "gain a heart of wisdom," which involves living a life that is purposeful and aligned with God's will.
Are you living in line with God's will for you is your desires in line with his will for you? Wisdom is needed to know his plans and follow his will for you please be wise.

IMPLICATIONS
Prioritizing What Matters
Recognizing the brevity of life encourages us to prioritize what truly matters, such as relationships, spiritual growth, and serving others.

Why running after things that add no value to your life
Why running after things that will varnish when you never expect
Why running after things that may turn to become a burden to your life,
Why killing yourself to be like others, please do what is right and stay where God has planted you and grow rapidly.

LIVING WITH INTENTION
Being mindful of time motivates us to live with intention, making the most of every moment and opportunity.

Use your time wisely don't spend it on things that will make you and enemy to God..

SEEKING WISDOM
The pursuit of wisdom involves seeking God's guidance and living a life that reflects His love and values.

Living right with God will make you fulfill God's plans for you.

If you have not giving your life to Jesus Christ do so now because there may be no time for you again

Tell him Lord Jesus come into life as my Lord and Saviour
Tell him please forgive all my sins
Ask him to cleanse all your sins and wash you in his blood
Ask him to write your name in the book of Life
Ask him to empower you with the Holy Spirit so that you Will live holy and not sin against him again.
