Allah, the Most High, has never needed the blood of our animals nor their meat. Allah does not benefit from anything we give. It is we who are in need of His mercy.
Allah SWT says:
ููู ููููุงูู ุงูููููู ููุญููู
ูููุง ููููุง ุฏูู
ูุงุคูููุง ูููููฐููู ููููุงูููู ุงูุชููููููููฐ ู

โNeither their meat nor their blood reaches Allah, but what reaches Him is the piety from you.โ
Think deeplyโฆ
A person may buy the most expensive ram, yet his heart may be filled with showing off, pride, and hurting others.
And another person may not have much in this world, yet he offers his sacrifice with tears in his eyes, sincerely seeking the pleasure of Allah.
By Allah, the second person is closer to the mercy of Allah.
Allah does not look at how much money you have. He does not look at the size of the animal you sacrificed. He looks at your heart.
When you raise the knife for Qurbani, remember that there are also things within your life that need to be cut off:
Cut off pride.
Cut off jealousy.
Cut off ุธูู
.
Cut off lack of mercy.
Cut off negligence in ุงูุตูุงุฉ.
What benefit is there in shedding the blood of an animal while at the same time causing the tears of parents, wives, or orphans to flow because of ุธูู
and oppression?
Eid is not only a day of celebration or showing what we haveโ It is a day of returning to Allah.
A day of mercy.
A day of forgiveness.
A day when hearts become purer.
Rememberโฆ
Perhaps this may be your last Qurbani in this world. Perhaps before the next Eid al-Adha, you may already be beneath the earth.
So correct your relationship with Allah before time runs out.
May Allah accept our sacrifices, and may He fill our hearts with taqwa, sincerity, and ikhlas.
Ameen.
