Eggs contain 13 important vitamins and minerals. Lutein and zeaxanthin are found in eggs yolk. They helped to prevent the development of cataract. Eggs contain vitamin D which helps in the absorption of calcium. Therefore, the elderly can consume one boiled egg daily to enhance absorption of calcium which helps in bone formation.
Some people say it's not advisable for the elderly to consume eggs. But, with what we have learnt today, boiled eggs can help the elderly to say healthy and strong.
